LTA announced ERP price increase
Singapore. According to the LTA’s latest review, 6 locations across nine time periods will increase ERP charges by S$1. These prices are based on LTA’s monitoring of various traffic conditions in October.
In the monitoring, LTA observed that “traffic has built up at various stretches of expressways.”
LTA also added that the speed of traffic at certain time slots has fallen below the optimal speed range.
At three various locations and across four time periods, the hike in rates will be deferred until after the December school holiday, and on 3 January 2023.
Just last September, ERP prices were also raised at five expressway locations. Four of these locations are also involved in the new revision.
