Of these BTO flats, 6,700 will be launched in August, and around 6,300 will be released in October.

According to an announcement posted on the website, HDB said that the flats will be located at Choa Chu Kang, Queenstown, Kallang Whampoa, and Tengah. Meanwhile, November’s supply will be in towns and estates such as Bedok, Bukit Merah, Bishan, Bukit Panjang, Queenstown, Jurong West, and Woodlands.

Around 23,000 flats will be launched in 2023, and it is also on track to launch 100,000 flats between 2021 to 2025.

HDB has pushed its supply of BTO flats by 35% from 17,100 flats in 2021 to 23,200 flats in 2022, plus the 2023 flats.

When it comes to resales, 6,406 HDB flats were reportedly sold in the second quarter, 4.6% lower than the same period last year. This is also the lowest in three years.

When it comes to resale prices, government cooling measures, which include a 15-month wait-out period before owners can purchase a non-subsidized HDB flat, have resulted in moderation in the rate of increase in resale prices.
