Ticket Application for NDP 2022 and 2 Preview Shows tickets are now open

Singapore. Tickets for the National Day Parade (NDP) 2022 and two preview shows are now available for balloting. The ticket balloting opens from 6 June at 12 pm until 20 June at 12 pm.

After two years of hiatus due to the pandemic, Singapore National Day Parade 2022 will be back at The Float @ Marina Bay on 9 August with the theme, “Stronger Together, Majulah!” – calling all Singaporeans to be united and strong people toward a better future.

The members of the public can now apply for two, four or six tickets to attend one of the three shows: 2 preview shows (23 July and 30 July) and NDP 2022 on 9 August.

Who are eligible to apply for NDP 2022?

According to the executive committee, all Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents of all agents can apply for the tickets.

How to Apply for NDP 2022 tickets?

You may start to submit your application using the official NDP website here. This is open now starting at 12 pm on 6 June until 20 June at 12 pm.

Then, check the confirmation email after submission. Applicants are also advised to use personal emails using the application.

Only successful applicants will be notified from 27 June to 1 July 2022 through the personal emails provided during the application process. Please take note that the application will come from [email protected].

What do you need to know about NDP 2022 tickets?

Based on the CNA report, tickets will be allocated via an electronic balloting system and not on a first come first serve basis. Successful applicants for NDP 2022 will be notified via email from 27 June to 1 July 2022.

Moreover, all the spectators must have valid tickets to attend the event. This will include children and even infants carried in arms.

As the event follows the national COVID-19 guidelines, vaccination differentiated safe management measures will apply for all the upcoming events.

In line with the guidelines, these are the individuals that are allowed to attend the event:

  • Fully vaccinated
  • Recovered from COVID-19 in the preceding 180 days
  • Medically ineligible for all vaccines under the national vaccination programme; and
  • Children aged 12 and below

Take note that during the application, each applicant will be entitled to one ballot chance. As such, having duplicate applications will be excluded from the balloting process.

Moreover, an applicant may choose to apply for ONE of the shows listed below:

  • PREVIEW 1 – 23 July 2022
  • PREVIEW 2 – 30 July 2022
  • NDP 2022 – 9 August 2022

Furthermore, the ticket collection period for successful applicants will be from 10:30 am – 8:30 pm at the Central Atrium (Level 2), Marina Square on the following dates:

  • 8 – 10 July 2022 (Fri-Sun)
  • 15 – 17 July 2022 (Fri-Sun)

What you can expect for NDP 2022?

According to the official NDP website, from 6 August and 7 June -NDP weekends, spectators can look forward to the celebrations at five heartland locations across the island.

You can look forward to the following events during the NDP weekends:

  • Performances, exhibitions and activities
  • The Singapore Armed Forces and the Home Team presented a static display of platforms, including the Leopard 2SG Main Battle Tank, the Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat and the RBS 70 ground-based air defence system.
  • Red Lions to conduct freefall jumps over two heartland sites.

As of the time of writing, the NDP official website indicated that more information is coming soon.

You can witness the highlight of the celebration at The Float @ Marina Bay starting with the “Strength of the Nation” segment.

Among the key highlights of the segment that you can expect are listed below:

  • Total Defence Display of capabilities by the Singapore Armed Forces and the Home Team, marching contingents from the uniformed services and other agencies
  • Virtual military tattoo for the first time in the history of NDP
  • Virtual choir performance of the NDP 2022 theme song “Stronger Together”

Then, the “Strength of the Nation” segment will be followed by “The Story of Us” which will include live performances and a show film showing how Singapore (both as a nation and a community) become stronger from all the challenges.
