6 out of 10 Singaporeans prefer to use WhatsApp

Singapore. In a report by HubSpot, it was found that WhatsApp is the preferred app of Singaporeans for personal and business use. The said app is mostly used to inquire about products and services.

“Today, consumers expect brand experiences to be highly personalised, delivered via the channels they prefer, and to receive real-time answers,” shared Kat Warboys, Marketing Director, APAC at HubSpot, adding that this presents a huge opportunity for businesses to be more intentional with how they engage with potential and current customers, adjust to their preferences, and stand out from other competitors.

Additionally, the report found that 67% of Singaporeans prefer using WhatsApp due to its convenience since they already use it in their day-to-day life.

Around 53% of Singaporeans also shared that WhatsApp helps them save time when starting or continuing conversations compared to other channels.
